The Heat-Free Ironing Mat is rated to 220°C / 428°F. Don't leave a hot iron resting in one spot, and let it cool before rolling it away.

It ships with AA batteries installed. Use AA cells only, don't mix old and new, remove them for long storage, and recycle used batteries at a designated point.
